I don’t know if you have been into Target lately but if you haven’t, stop reading this right now and go!
I am on a Martha-Stewart-type organizing kick so I have been in a couple of the times the last few weeks.
OMG! You know what I found? Some buyer person from Target must own a weiner dog because they had a bunch of Dachshund Valentines Stuff. Looky at what I found:
I said to go now because they are rapidly selling out of these items. By the time you are reading this I would guess at least 70% of what you are seeing is no longer available in the store or online.
Like I said, I am on an organizing kick. That means I am also simplifying and getting rid of stuff I don’t need. However, I couldn’t resist buying some of the cups (ok…and the gift bag too). I bought 12 of them to use for our WeinerQs this spring and summer. Twelve is what they had left at the store.
Sitting next to them were these cups though.

I have been a doxie collector for years!! I have all kinds of doxie stuff from a couple of vintage mail holders to stuffed doxies. The glasses would fit in just right!! I don’t have a Target where I live darn it! Thanks for sharing!!

I love all of these!! I am somewhat obsessed with all things doxie, as I have an almost 3 yr. old long-haired doxie by the name of Chesney who rules the roost!

Those are adorable! I have been seeing a lot of doxie-themed things in the past few months – apparently they’re the new favourite pup of advertising, because they’re everywhere! It’s ok, though, because they really are the cutest thing

They also had at our Target a doxie candy bowl, and coffee mugs. =) They were white, the mug has a raised doxie, a pink and red striped handle, and the word “love” in pink, and the candy bowl is shaped like a doxie, all white, with a pink nose.
My hubby got them for me for Valentine’s day… we currently live 800 miles apart so I got them the last time I saw him, since I won’t see him till the end of February again.

I am not one to go shopping casually and browse as much these days, as I was able to in the past, due to my financial situation. (I get so depressed because I can’t spend spend spend)
But, now, I’m heading to Target this morning, in hopes that the buyers here in the Coachella Valley, in Southern Californa, have stocked these in our Target as well.
Can’t wait to go, in hopes the shelves aren’t cleared yet!!!

This is great! I did go to Target a couple of weeks ago and they had a Dachshund coffee mug! I really wanted to get it but I didn’t since I needed to by essential things lol.

I have to control myself to not to buy every single doxie item I find out there! I’m so glad there’s a brand-new Target downtown just a couple of blocks from work
I don’t buy a lot of Doxie stuff (because I don’t have room) but I couldn’t pass these up!

It’s super cute though. I was trying to come up with a justification for it…
I try to behave myself most of the time and I don’t have anything really extravagant in my collection, but I justify what I do purchase by planning to leave all of it to Dachshund rescue in my will (not that I’m planning to cash out any time soon). That way I can enjoy my collection now, and know that it will help the little long dogs in the future.
