Friday I held my annual Regifting Party. It’s a party I hold in January for some of my girlfriends. We unload gifts we got for Christmas that we didn’t like on each other White-Elephant style.
Three of my friends came to the party. One friend owns to weiner dogs and blogs over at Life with Doxies. Another of the friends is the one that lives near is and meets up with us all of the time to help us meet our 30/30 walking challenge goal. She has two weiner dogs. My other friend is dogless in Seattle.
It’s a good thing my dogless friend does LIKE dogs. She follows our blog and sometimes attends Adventureweiner events to “borrow a dog” and live vicariously through me.
The two “with dogs” friends brought theirs over. I may be crazy but I think it is fun to have 6 weiner dogs running around the house. The amount of cuteness hurts. Ha, ha.
We subjected my dogless friend to lots of dog talk and many “aww…look how cute he/she is being” moments. She said she liked it and had fun. She is so gracious
So, a questions that comes up a lot when I meet with friends or the Adventureweiner Club is “what do you call a whole bunch of Dachsunds in one place”? A gaggle? A package? We are trying to think of something cute or clever. What would you call it.
While you are thinking, here is some eye candy from the party to enjoy.
This is part of the Monday Mischief Blog Hop. Visit our pal Snoopy’s blog to see what other kind of mischief is happening or join yourself.

What a bunch of cuties. I’m thinking a “package” sounds cute. A package of weiners dogs, ya, that has a good ring to it.

What a fun idea. Must be great to have a group of friends like that.
I’d call them a gaggle I think. Unless they are longhaired. Then, I’d call them a fluffle.

How about Wiener World? We love having lots of dogs, the more the merrier and especially if we can all get a bit wild!

I am writing you this heartfelt little note to thank you for putting a smile on my face this morning reading your blog, and most importantly looking at all your winie photos!
I have been suffering from some emotional mood swings lately that really are challenging and I am un medicated.
So, considering whats been going on personally in my life, including illnesses, and seasonal issues, etc, my best friend, and my only friend with a dachshund, Mindy that moved out of state, I am thanking you for being available for me!
Your photos are adorable!
I miss being married and sharing adventures with my last 2 dachshunds, Misty and Miss Molly who have since passed.
I am divorced, live alone, and own 2 dachshunds, Maggie Mae, and Ginger Rose, the problem child—–LOL, but not all the time!
Anyway, just wish to tell you that I am so very happy that you have your blog and I enjoy seeing it everyday and I am somewhat very very envious of your overall life!
Thank You Patti Ann In the dreaded desert in Southern California, La Quinta
Thanks for visiting and taking the time to let us know how you feel. I am sorry that things are a struggle for you lately. We certainly aim to cheer up! I know that I can have the worst day (I have had a really rough year too) and all it takes is one look from my babies to make it all go away. Maybe if I had one when I was in college I would have never gone through bouts of depression
There are a lot of Doxie owners here in the City. I couldn’t imagine now having some long, short buddies to hang out with.
Awww, so cute! I think it should be a pack-age of dachshunds, sorta lika a pack but a package of hot dogs. They’re so fun when they get together, aren’t they.

Oh man are they ever cute! I love your idea for the party, too. My husband got an “I Can Shave” Barbie from my sister this year for Christmas that she got as a white elephant gift. I have a feeling she will make another appearance next year!
What about a “schnattern” which is German for gaggle or “gruppe”?

I don’t know a good name for a group of Dachshunds, but I know when I see this many pictures of cute weiner dogs, I become In-dox-icated

Oh my goodness! I can hardly take the cuteness! How did you guys stand it??? I wish I didn’t live so far away because it would be so much fun to join you with my four!
A whole bunch of Doxies in one place? I call that cute!!! But, if I were a naughtier pup, I might call it a barbecue
