Well, our week in Sequim turned into two, which turned into being overwhelmed and busy with “tasks” almost every waking moment. Not that I am complaining. Life sometimes does that too you.
However, it has left no time for blogging…as you have probably noticed by our lack of posts. Things have eased up a bit around here lately so we have been able to dabble in a little Mischief here and there.
The most exciting news is that we found out we are one of the 10 finalists in the BlogPaws’ Build a Business Blog Contest sponsored by Petsmart. PetSmart created this contest and will work with 2 lucky bloggers to help them “Build a Business Blog.”
The next step in the competition is for me to make a 2-minute video telling them why I think I should win. It has been a challenge so far trying to find the time in my busy schedule to do that but you don’t know how excited I am to have a chance at winning this. I will find the time! 
Our pal Snoopy, host of this blog hop, is also one of the 10 finalists. We want to congratulate everyone who made the list. Any of those blogs on the list are just as deserving as we are.
We organized another great Greenlake walk with the Adventureweiner Club of Seattle. It wasn’t our biggest turnout but it was close.
There was a chance that a local news channel was going to come and film our group but they didn’t make it. Maybe they will next month.
Remember our declaration that we were going “BlogPaws or Bust“? Well, apparently that post was very inspirational. After I wrote it we were contacted by the utterly adorable crowd over at It’s a Weinerful Life.
They decided they wanted to go to the conference too. In the end we decided that all three of us humans and 5 pups were going BogPaws or Bust together. We are going to road trip down to Salt Lake City in their Suburban and they are going to stay at our campsite with us. We can’t wait! This adventure is going to be Epic! (And you bet we will be posting our trip on Facebook and Google+ *see below*)

On a separate but related note, I have been reluctant to jump on the Google+. I don’t have the time to learn and manage a new social media platform. Well, my attitude has changed.
I was contacted by a Google representative through one of our Doxie friends. Google wants to work with us and other local Doxie groups to help promote our events and blogs. I had never even looked at how Google+ works but the guy gave me a personal tour of the site and I have to say I likey. We are going to give it a try so you will probably see a Google+ button appearing soon here so you can easily find us and connect with us.
I have some other great plans in the works but I am keeping those Mum for now. I will let you know as they pan out (if they do).
I hope to start posting regularly again. I probably won’t be able to post more than a couple of times a week but I hope to be able to make Mischief Mondays and Wordless Wednesdays.
