You probably already noticed but we are going to call ourselves out. We weren’t just traveling with a car full of weiner dogs on the way to the BlogPaws conference. The It’s a Weinerful Life gang is actually made up of two weiner dogs and a Chihuahua named Luna.
Now, I will admit that I used to dislike Chihuahuas. No special reason I guess, I just didn’t like them.
Over the years I have warmed up to them. But traveling with Luna almost made me want one. She is so damn cute and a little spitfire.
Isn’t she so damn cute?!
PS…I will let you in on a secret. One of her nicknames is Loonie…which sometimes she is

Great pictures! Glad you had a good time at Blow Paws. I had something come up at the last minute that prevented me from going, but hopefully I’ll be there in 2013. Hope you enjoyed the sun while you were there.
I hate to be captain obvious but it seems you are very busy and something “always comes up” for you
I hope you can make BlogPaws happen next year. I am not sure we will be able to. A few of us are pushing for BlogPaws in 2014 to be in Seattle!
Hey that’s me….BOL!!!! LOL! I love it. I love the angles you got. I can be quite loonie but I’m a love bug too. Thanks for finally showcasing me. Mama never does that. Ha I’m going to show her this and say there. LOLOL!
Happy Tuesday, my friends.

Oh, Yes! You are mostly very sweet. Glad to finally give you your day in the spotlight
She is pretty darn cute, for sure. I have to say I have an aversion to chihuahuas a lot of the time, but I think it is mostly because of how most owners with chis allow them to behave, calling things like growling cute and adorable, just because their dog is small. And I’ve always had a rule in my house that if it is small enough for me to kill by stepping on it, it doesn’t get to live with me.

I agree – we mention quite frequently the disparity in treatment and expectations between small and big dogs. I believe a dog is a dog and they should all be taught manners and be expected to behave appropriately regardless of size. I also believe that you should exercise your dog to keep them healthy even if they are small. Small dogs need exercise too. However, I have owned a lot of “accidentally step on” sized pets
Aaaaaaah! I actually met Sally Ann, but not you! Gah! I had such a great time, but it was so busy, I felt like I was in the middle of a giant whirlwind!

OMG…really? We were next to each other most of the time. Weird
She really is adorable! I’d be worried I’d break a Chihuahua though, LOL as clumsy as I am

I think she is good at getting out of the way

Too much fun! I admit to not being a fan of Chihuahuas either. But I’ve met several recently that changed my mind. They aren’t all evil and some, like Luna, are actually kind of cute.
I am so glad you had an awesome time!

It WAS a lot of fun. It was also exhausting. I am getting too old to spend 35 hours in a car in 4 days….plus sitting all day at the conference
Oh she’s cute alright, but I bet June Buggie would not be nice to her.
