I admit that I have only watched the Puppy Bowl once. I think I heard excited whispers about it a couple of years ago but I didn’t see it until last year. I am not a football fan but I can get into “football” if the players are puppies
I admit I stumbled upon it on accident but was immediately captivated. It was a lot of fun to watch the puppies rolling around with each other and chewing on each others ears during the game. It can get rough
I am going to watch it this year on purpose. Are you?
Know that you will see more than just puppies if you watch the Puppy Bowl. The kitten-half time show will be back this year and I hear there will be hedgehog cheerleaders (my eyes just might melt out of my head from the cuteness!). If that wasn’t enough reason to watch, I recently learned that most of the puppies are shelter dogs up for adoption and that almost every puppy featured gets adopted!
This year Subaru has made it possible for you to get a VIP pass , which features exclusive Puppy Bowl and Subaru content that is sure to leave your tail wagging, just by downloading the Puppy Bowl Co-viewing App before the game. You’ll be able to have a “second-screen” experience on your iPhone, Android or other tablet device while you watch the puppies playing on TV.
The app will have Subaru content available on 2/3/13 during the Puppy Bowl IX airing at 3pm e/p on Animal Planet. In other words, the app will work live with Subaru’s fun engagement during the airing of the Puppy Bowl. It will also work during the re-air (check local listings).
Subaru loves dogs and dog owners. Each year Subaru of America celebrates the love between owners and their dogs with the Dog Tested. Dog Approved.™ campaign.
In addition to sponsoring this app, this year they are proud to introduce Grant Weber, Subaru Canine Sales Associate. Having sold Subaru vehicles to only dogs, there’s simply no better friend to man’s best friend. No matter size, breed, or temperament, he’ll find the right Subaru for your needs. So if you’re a dog, and you’re looking for a Subaru, head on down to see Grant Weber. You’ll leave with your tail held high.
The Subaru is a crazy popular car here in the Northwest. It is one of the most popular cars we see at trailheads when we go hiking. I have been thinking about getting one as my next car. By the looks of this “doggy fantasy” video, Chester and Gretel would sure like that.
This post is sponsored by Subaru. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about the Dog Tested. Dog Approved.™ campaign, but YouDidWhatWithYourWeiner.com only shares news for things we support.

We are sad, we don’t get the challenge it is on. Hope it is a good game. Lee and Phod

What does the app do? It’s triggered by the sound of the Puppy Bowl when it’s on TV. When it hears that you are watching it, you’ll be able to check out special content on the app. It will also work when the Puppy Bowl re-airs so be sure to check your local listing for re-air times.
