We can’t always be outside playing even though we sure wish we could. While we are indoors our adventures are pretty much restricted to surfing the Internet. We want to share with you a few cool places we have been.
This is an oldie (we just finally got to sharing this with you) but goodie. The winner of the most creative, most relatable post goes to Life With Dogs. They wrote a post on how hiking is like working with fearful dog issues. Since we are avid hikers, and own a fearful dog, we can clearly see the connections between the two that they made.
Since we have decided to start feeding grain-free, I have been doing a lot of research and noticing a lot of grain-free info out there that I didn’t before. This recipe for Liver Whoopie Pie Dog Treats from Kol’s Notes caught our eye. Now if only Chester and Gretel can convince me to actually make them 🙂 We also liked Kol’s post that breaks the grain-free debate down into three basic categories. I don’t have time to read eight million search results regarding the grain-free debate either and after reading this post I don’t feel like I have to.
Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund published the Dachshund 10 Commandments. We especially agree with numbers 1, 7 and 8.
I started a Seattle Pet Bloggers Meetup Group in hopes of connecting with other pet bloggers in the area. One of the attendees at our first meeting was the author of Dog Blogging With Luna. She wrote about our first meeting and shared some great Doxie photos we took on her blog.
You know what sticklers we are for picking up your dog poo so we loved that a post appeared over at the Spoiled Doxie about the importance of not just bagging your pet waste but actually putting the pet waste it in the trash.
I will confess that Chester and Gretel have run of the backseat (and sometimes the passenger seat too) on road trips but I have been feeling guiltier and guiltier for not putting them in a crate or “seatbelt harness”. The picture of two weeines and a Chihuahua in their new doggie car seat over at It’s a Weinerful life made my heart melt and is so cute we may just be compelled to get one. I’ll probably have to get two though because, unlike these doggies, Chester and Gretel don’t really like to cuddle.
