Along with new food, I decided to get Gretel and Chester new placemats and bowls. Well, Gretel didn’t get a new bowl because I love her polka dot bowl we already have.
I found all of this stuff on Etsy.
This is Chester’s new urban folk art, neoprene rubber dog food placemat. The artist said, “My mother told me not to put the word “poop” on this mat. My mom has never had a dog.” I love that it says “poop” and that the dog even looks like a weiner dog….and it has a grumpy face like Chester and Gretel do when they want food 🙂
I got Chester this small, blue clay bowl for his new food dish. The blue of the bowl even matches some of the blue in the placemat.
The dogs share the same water dish and they (especially Chester) drink a lot of water. I had a 24 oz. water dish but got tired of filling it one to two times a day. I decided to get them a new, bigger water dish. This is the one item that I didn’t actually get on Etsy. I found this modern, non-slip, stainless steel water bowl on Dog.com.
Here is what it looks like all together…except that I don’t make them eat outside 🙂 I put it outside because it was too dark when I got home from work to take the pictures outside. This sits in our kitchen.
I bought Gretel a new placemat. I happened to find a pink & brown polka dot pet placemat to match her food bowl. I don’t feed them in the same room so her food dish is in the dining room on the wood floor. The bottom of this placemat is rubberized so it doesn’t slip around.
Here is Gretel looking thrilled with her new stylish dining center. Oh wait….I think she is demanding food. Ha, ha.
