Awesome Seattle Outdoor Pet Photographer: Tails & Trails Pet Photography
Are you looking for a professional pet photographer than can take photos of you hiking with your dog or take end of life portraits of your senior adventure dog?
If so, definitely check out Tails & Trails Pet Photography.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Bee to take some photos of me and my three Dachshunds.
Since I almost always hike solo with the weenies, I don’t have many pics of us together.
Also, I was really feeling the urge to capture some special moments with my senior doxie because, sadly, she has entered the phase of life where it’s “in my face” that our adventure time together is limited.
I really like the way the photos turned out and I was super excited when I discovered that Summit nabbed the coveted header spot on her website.
About Tails & Trails Pet Photography and Bee
I’ve known Bee for many years and have always admired her style.
When I needed someone else to follow us into the woods and take some portraits of us that capture our adventurous personalities, she was the first one who came to mind.
The outdoors is her happy place just like ours, so knew she wouldn’t mind getting a little dirty to get the perfect shot.
She’s happy to join clients on the adventure of their choice to capture candid, timeless portraits that showcase their personality from Seattle to Tacoma, to West Seattle to Issaquah and beyond.
She specializes in outdoor adventure and end of life photos (rainbow bridge keepsakes).
Personalized pet portrait experiences include:
- Custom location planning based on your pet’s favorite places and any mobility issues
- Up to 90 minutes adventuring together, capturing memories big and small
- Pet-first, force-free approach to make sure your pet stays happy and comfortable
- Expert image retouching, including leash and collar removals
- One-on-one gallery reveal and art work ordering session
- White-glove service with albums and wall art delivered personally by me to your home, with wall art installation included
After your session, you select which portraits you want turned into luxury wall art that you can display proudly around your home or a fully custom, luxury “coffee table” photo album to show off to your guests.
Digital files of each image(s) used in your album or wall art are included at no additional cost, and more digitals they are available for an additional fee.
Besides her services, it also matters to me that she cares about diversity, inclusivity, and giving back to the local Native American communities.
Five percent of all profits are donated to non-profits or community organizations that support the indigenous population local to your session location or to the Duwamish People, who were the original steward of the land she lives on.
Our Photo Shoot Experience
Together, Bee and I chose a location that would be snow-free this time of year, was in the woods, and that was close enough to a road that we wouldn’t be haggard and sweaty when we arrived.
Beforehand, we discussed the types of shots that I wanted to capture, reviewed how the process would work, and went over the personality of each dog and what kind of challenges we might face getting them to post and look at the camera.
We met at a location that would give us an opportunity to take “hiking” and riverside photos.
Bee captured moments of me with the dogs and also some of them solo.
I used the photo of all four of us (I didn’t have one with our newest family member Otter in it previously) to freshen up our social media profiles and have shared the others on social media.
Overall, I was pleased with the experience and definitely recommended Bee at Tails & Trails Pet Photo if you live in the Seattle-Tacoma area and want some photos of your dog(s) to cherish forever.
